I didn't invite any guests over this week. Not because of CDC recommendations but because of not wanting to think about Apple's holiday podcast schedule for RSS feeds. Anyhow, I mused on gratitude, even though I think celebrating Thanksgiving is rude.

Five Things to Be Thankful For Part 1 This is going to be a three-part series.
Monday
5. People. Be thankful for those in your life.
4. Family. Be thankful for those who are still here and those who've passed.
3. Pets. Be thankful for the pets you've been entrusted with by the Father in Heaven. He brings pets into our lives to teach us lessons we need to learn.

Thought for Sunday, 11/22:
"In science, 'fact' can only mean 'confirmed to such a degree that it would be perverse to withhold provisional assent.' I suppose that apples might start to rise tomorrow, but the possibility does not merit equal time in physics classrooms." ~ Stephen Jay Gould

One YouTuber I subscribe to compared it to waiting to see who gets custody of us. True!!!
The article 5 Foods Going Extinct Shockingly Soon was from June of this year. However, I do feel like it needs to be covered again. These are the five foods that may or will be extinct soon. Given how close we are to the major cooking and baking holidays, I hope this article gives you some room to plan your Thanksgiving and Christmas also New Year’s menu.
Milk - This doesn’t have to be a tragedy. There are alternatives. Powdered milk. I know! It’s horrible. Evaporated milk. Shelf-stable milk is in the cereal aisle of m...

Winter Reading List Last year I did a reading list of books I planned on reading through the winter. Of course, some got to read and some didn’t. This winter I will finish up that list and add to them. The majority are going to be ordered this month and the next part will be next month. As usual, you can get these books from Amazon.

Here is what is leftover from last year:
